The planet that is dying faster than we want to believe. Animals tortured to meet our consumption of animal products. Endangered breeds. And the list continues to grow every day! I don’t know about you, but I feel anxious, helpless and hopeless. How to make a difference? Can our individual actions really save the planet?
Gaining power through knowledge
Educating ourselves gives us the power to make more informed and impactful decisions. Wearing blinders will never help us move forward. My best advice is undoubtedly to learn about the topics that matter to you: the environment, animal welfare, your nutrition and health, the future of our children, etc.
Respect your values
In our desire to make better choices for the planet, it’s ESSENTIAL to respect ourselves and our values. For example, it’s recognized that vegetarianism and veganism are solutions to stop the majority of our environmental problems and animal cruelty caused by overconsumption and industrialization. But there’s no need to radicalize and change overnight at any cost. The idea is to understand and make better decisions, one decision at a time!
Yes, we can make a difference
What I realized was that we are much more powerful than we think – individually and collectively. It’s about believing and acting. Certainly it’s easier when taking part in a community – and so much more motivating! Every action counts. Period. That’s why I decided to FINALLY launch a program that I’ve been imagining and cherishing for a while … “Save the planet one recipe at a time”. I invite you to watch the video here or visit our page here to learn more!
And you, how are you trying to make a difference? I want to hear you!
